Underground Barrier Stops Gazan Terrrorists


 Israel completed construction of a massive barrier running the length of the Gaza Strip. The fence which is both above and below the ground spans the entire 65km length of Israel’s border with Palestinian territory. The barrier is meant to counter the threat of cross-border attack tunnels dug by Palestinian militant outfit Hamas

Israel’s Defence Minister Benny Gantz said that the barrier “deprives Hamas of one of their capabilities”

Looking to end dependence on Russia, E.U eyes natural gas & LNG sources in Israel. EU working on a deal to import Israeli gas through Egypt. Fuel would be turned into liquefied natural gas (LNG) at Egypt’s processing plants before being shipped to the EU. For the deal to go through, it would require the backing of EU member states.
