It is a name given to the area of Israel by the British, when the Syrians wanted their name back, after Israel had been given the name "Syria-Palestina" by the Romans !!! Jordan was created to take all the Arabs living on Jewish land, that is why it was carved out of Israel. It is much bigger than the remaining piece of Jewish land and should have absorbed all those who claim to be refugees already. It's been 71 years already. Israel absorbed all the true refugees from lands the Arabs control.
