2022 the Deadliest Year for Palestinians?

According to the United Nations, 2022 has been the deadliest year in the West Bank and eastern Jerusalem in almost two decades, with over 150 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces. 

However, while this claim might be true, it is definitely not the whole truth. Indeed, these raw numbers fail to acknowledge that most Palestinians who died in recent months were killed while attacking Israelis.

We can only hope that the media will do better in 2023.

 Israeli forces on Tuesday morning raided a Nablus bomb factory, killing multiple Lions' Den operatives including Wadee al-Houh, the terror group's top commander. Israel Is Not an “Occupier”

International law defines “occupation” as one power occupying the lands of a foreign sovereign. In Israel's case, Israel is not occupying any foreign sovereign’s land; Israel entered the area known as the West Bank in 1967 and took over the authority to administer the land from Jordan, which was never considered to be a sovereign in the area.
