Into the "Lions" Den

Israeli forces on Tuesday morning raided a Nablus bomb factory, killing multiple Lions' Den operatives including Wadee al-Houh, the terror group's top commander. The counterterrorism operation came barely two weeks after Jerusalem urged the Palestinian Authority (PA), which is responsible for security in Area A of the West Bank, to act against the threat emanating from Nablus.

Ramallah has consistently skirted its obligations under the Oslo Accords, with PA Health Minister Mai al-Kaila even sending "praises and respect" to the Lions' Den, necessitating Israeli action against the terror group.

Here's what you need to know about the danger that the Lions' Den poses to stability and peace in the region.
