Plastic found in nature has become a greater issue, increasing in the future. However, the solution might be found in the ocean. Bacterium from marine algae is capable of producing biodegradable plastic, Israeli researchers discovered.
"Marine microorganisms are thriving in a high salinity
environment in a low temperature and low organic matter so they gained a lot of
attention due to their capability to produce biopolymers in large quantity, and
also in a great quality.
